Certification
If you choose to become a certified Bioenergy Balancing Practitioner, you will take the class twice. During the first year, the material is designed to provide an overview of the physical and energetic systems of the body, their interplay, and how to effect positive change within these systems using one's knowledge, intuition, and experience.
The second year develops proficiency and deepens your understanding of the material. During this year, you integrate the knowledge and refine clinical aspects to develop an organized approach – progressing from student to professional practitioner.
Practitioner candidates must also complete the open-book/take-home exams (one/unit) and pass the qualifying exam given by the Bioenergy Examining Board. This exam consists of a verbal section as well as a practicum to evaluate knowledge, hands-on skills and client rapport.
The qualifying exam is given after two years of course work is completed, and practitioner candidates go through this process together. Test materials are provided in advance so that you will know ahead of time what you might be asked. This exam process is designed to be non-threatening and is intended to review your skills and knowledge both technically and clinically. It is meant to give you a feeling of confidence and empowerment as you demonstrate your ability to practice this work effectively.
